Barry Owen Jones RWS ,RE (born 1934) is a well-known painter and etcher, based in Guernsey since 1974. He was born in north London and studied at Hornsey College of Art 1950-55. He founded the Coach House Gallery in Guernsey in 1975 and has exhibited extensively since then. In 1982 he was elected a member of the Royal Society of Painter Etchers and an associate member of the Royal Watercolour Society in the same year. In 1986 he became a full member of the RWS. His work is represented in several public collections including the Government Art Collection.
