Title: 'Femme du Midi - Figure Two in the series' (as documented by the artist) - an original signed painted cut-out in mixed media (mainly gouache and charcoal)   

Description: This work is signed by the artist in pencil and dated (19)79. We believe the cut-outs were studies the artist made for sculptures exhibited in the early 1980s. This cut-out is hinged on to a plain off-white card chosen by the artist. The Femme du Midi themed works were a significant series by the artist in various forms of media. In October / November 1979 an exhibition of Femme du Midi works on paper was held at Galerie Bonnier in Geneva, Switzerland.
