John Brunsdon, RE, ARCA (1933-2014) is widely acknowledged as being one of Britain's finest contemporary printmakers, noted for his strong use of colour. He was born in Cheltenham and studied printmaking at the Royal College of Art in London 1955-58. He was a founder member of the Printmakers Council in 1965. John Brunsdon's work is held in many public collections, including the Tate Gallery, Victoria & Albert Museum, Arts Council, and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
