June Redfern (born 1951) is an internationally known Scottish painter and printmaker, one of the leading exponents of expressionistic landscape painting, born in St Andrews, Fife. She studied at the Edinburgh College of Art 1968-72, later winning awards from the Scottish Arts Council and the Scottish Young Contemporaries. In 1985 she was artist in residence at The National Gallery in London. She has exhibited in many group shows, and has held numerous solo shows, including at the Scottish Arts Council; Wrexham Art Gallery; Third Eye Centre, Glasgow; and Boundary Gallery, London. Her work is held in many public collections at home and abroad, including Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art; Contemporary Art Society; National Gallery; Glasgow Museums and Art Gallery; Dundee Art Gallery; and Bradford Art Gallery.
