Michael Heindorff (born 1949, Germany) is a well known painter and printmaker who lives and works in both London and Berlin. He attended the Art College and University of Braunschweig (1970-74) and the Royal College of Art, London (1975-77). Michael Heindorff has exhibited extensively internationally, including at the Bernard Jacobson Gallery, London, New York and Los Angeles; Bradford Print Biennale; Victoria and Albert Museum; and Marlborough Fine Art, London. He was elected a member of The London Group in 1981. His work is held in several public collections including the Tate Gallery, Arts Council Collection, British Council, London Transport Museum, MOMA New York, Royal Academy Collection and Victoria Gallery & Museum, Liverpool.
