William Herbert Chattaway (born 1927, Coventry, Warwickshire) is an internationally known sculptor and draughtsman. He studied at Coventry School of Art 1943-45 and at the Slade School of Art in London 1945-48. Chattaway settled in Paris 1950, which is were he is still based. His work has been exhibited extensively in France, the UK and the United States and it is represented in a number of public collections. In 1969 a show of Drawings and Sculpture was held at the Herbert Art Gallery, Coventry.
