Description: The Bahia portfolio of original linocuts ('gravuras originais') was published in 1965 by Editora Cultrix of Sao Paulo, Brazil, in a limited edition of 400 portfolios, each with seven linocuts. Each linocut was signed by the artist in pencil. We are offering the portfolio as published except we have four linocuts only, not the seven as published. The works we have are known as: BOY WITH PINWHEELS: CAT : THREE WOMEN ; DANCE. Our part portfolio is numbered 244 out of the edition of 400. The linocuts appear never to have been framed and are all in very good condition with no fading or tears to the paper. They have been viewed over the years and as such are not absolutely mint.
Size: The linocuts each measure about 21.2 x 14.7 inches paper size; they are unframed and held in a portfolio with hardback covers and supporting material as published
