Trevor Chamberlain (born 1933) is a very well known painter in oil and watercolour of marine, landscapes and town and village scenes. He was born in Hertford and is self taught as an artist. He has exhibited widely, including at the Royal Academy from 1973, at the Royal Society of Marine Artists from 1968 (elected RSMA 1970), with the New English Art Club, and with the Royal Institute of Oil Painters of which prestigious society he is a full member (elected 1972), and has had more than twenty one-man shows. Trevor Chamberlain is also a Past President of The Wapping Group. He is represented in a number of public collections including National Maritime Museum Cornwall, Hertford Museum, Government Art Collection and City of London Corporation. He has lived in Hertford for many years.
