About Us..

RetroSixty carries a large stock of original 20th century design furniture, accessories and fine art from the 1950s to late 1970s. We also provide an online store, as part of the RetroSixty website, selling original contemporary design from the likes of Finn Juhl, Poul Kjaerholm, Kristian Vedel & more!

All of our items are authentic original pieces from manufacturers, designers and artists such as Verner Panton, Poul Kjaerholm, Hans Wegner, Finn Juhl, France & Daverkosen, Peter Hvidt, Arne Vodder, Charles and Ray Eames, Herman Miller, Vitra, Pierre Paulin, Artifort, Arne Jacobson, Joe Colombo, Eero Aarnio, George Nelson, 'Borough Group artists such as Dorothy Mead and Dennis Creffield, Michael Rothenstein RA, William Gear RA, Alan Davie, Henry Cliffe, Roy Turner Durrant, Rowland Suddaby, and Welsh artists such as John Elwyn and Claudia Williams.

We cover a wide variety of items including furniture, lamps, ceramics, glassware, and fine art (original paintings, print and drawings, both figurative and abstract).
 

Location and opening times?

Although internet based, clients are of course welcome to come and view any items they are interested in.

We are based on the coast of Sussex, 16 miles West of Brighton and only 5 miles from the ancient town of Arundel with it's fantastic castle. Access is easy from the A259, A27 and only 45 minutes from the M25.

Opening hours:-

Monday - Friday 9.00am - 6.00pm viewings by appointment only.

Weekend and evening appointments are possible, please ask.

How to purchase from us:-

Payment is accepted via credit and debit cards processed securely and independently for us by Google Checkout (UK and United States only).  Alternatively we are very happy to accept payment via direct bank transfer, UK cheque, or cash on collection/delivery. We can deliver goods (for an agreed fee) within a 100 mile radius of Worthing (same day is possible as are further distances), please email or ring with your requests.  

We take data protection very seriously, and we do not hold any personal financial information on any of our clients.  The security of data is one reason why we encourage clients purchasing items from us to make their payments electronically via Google Checkout.  Google Checkout is entirely secure and of course they do not share client financial information with merchants.   We do not share client data of any kind with any third party.

Need us to locate an item/s for you?

RetroSixty offer a service to source particular items that you are looking for. If we don't have that one special item you have been searching for we are happy to try and locate it for you. We don't charge a fee for this service and always offer reasonable prices for our products. It is worth noting that we have access to hundreds of items throughout Europe and the United States and we make regular buying trips to the continent.
