Allin Braund: Allin Braund (1915-2004) was a well known painter, printmaker and art teacher, born in Devon. He studied at Bideford School of Art 1932-36, then at Hornsey School of Art 1936-39 under Norman Janes. He exhibited at the Royal Academy, Royal Society of Painter Etchers, the Redfern Gallery, Zwemmer Gallery, the St George's Gallery and at the Venice Biennale in 1954. Braund's work is held in a number of public collections, including the Victoria & Albert Museum and the British Council.  He lived for many years in London.
