Bernard Dunstan: Bernard Dunstan, RA, NEAC, PRWA (born 1920, Teddington) is one of Britain's best known artists, especially associated with his fine rendering of the female nude, interiors, and his paintings of Venice.  He studied at the Byam Shaw School under Ernest Jackson and at the Slade School 1939-41.  Bernard Dunstan has exhibited widely and was elected a member of the New English Art Club 1947, an Associate of the Royal Academy 1959, full RA 1968, and President of the Royal West of England Academy 1979-84. His work is held in many public collections including the National Portrait Gallery.
