Patrick Hall: Patrick Hall (1906-1992) was a painter of landscapes, river and coastal scenes in watercolour. Born in York he studied at York Art School and then at Northampton Art School. He exhibited at the Royal Academy, Royal Scottish Academy, New English Art Club, Paris Salon etc, and held numerous one man shows including at the Waddington Galleries and the Marjorie Parr Gallery of Kings Road, Chelsea. His work is held in the Imperial War Museum, National Gallery of Australia, National Gallery of New Zealand, and in a number of provincial galleries in the UK. He lived in London and later at Sellindge in Kent.
