Designer: Poul Kjaerholm (1929-1980)

Poul Kjaerholm was born in 1929 in Øster Vrå, Denmark. Most of his furniture was produced by his friend E. Kold Christensen in Hellerup until 1982 just after his premature death. Fritz Hansen started to produce most of his designs from there on until the present day.

Kjaerholm's designs are in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the V&A Museum in London and other museum collections in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Germany.
