Alan Lumsden: Alan Lumsden (born 1937 in Aldershot, Hampshire) is known primarily as a printmaker, especially of etchings.  He studied at Cheltenham Art School 1953-57 and after National Service attended London University Institute of Education 1959-60. For a time he taught at Chester School of Art. Alan Lumsden's work is held in the Government Art Collection (two examples) and in several public provincial collections including Doncaster, Dudley, Hull, Nottingham and Sunderland. A number of his prints feature local life in and around the small village of Bersham, near Wrexham, where he made his home.
