Shipping and Return Policy..

RetroSixty is normally able to offer world wide shipping on most of our products, although it is not usually cost effective to ship large pieces of furniture outside of the UK or Western Europe. For inland shipping (United Kingdom mainland) we use Royal Mail Special or Recorded Delivery for small items and DHL / Yodel for larger items, although of course there are size and weight restrictions with these services.  Furniture can often be shipped by carrier to the major cities in the UK, France, Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany at a very reasonable cost.  Services to outlying areas are more costly due to the extra time and mileage involved. European customers interested in furniture or large works of art should email us please for a shipping quote.

Shipping of framed art and smaller items to the United States and Canada is via DHL or FedEx, normally £45 for up to 10 kilos volumetric weight and £75 up to 25 kilos volumetric weight. Where items are relatively small, under £500 in value, and under 2 kilos with packaging then we can ship Royal Mail Airmail, International Signed For service, to most overseas destinations at a much more modest shipping cost.

We can offer a personal delivery service within a 75 mile radius of Worthing, West Sussex at a modest cost (please see the listings for details).  Deliveries to the North of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland would cost more due to the additional distance involved, but either we or our specialist carriers offer a good service to these areas at competitive prices

RETURN POLICY

Items are guaranteed to be substantially as described by us (there may for example be minor discrepancies in dimensions and weight and not all wear and tear may be described in detail). Please bear in mind that as we sell vintage furniture, lighting, ceramics, paintings and prints a substantial number of items offered for sale will be in used condition, and as such some wear and tear must be expected as a consequence of years of use. We are of course more than happy to provide additional photographs and more detailed condition reports on request prior to an order being placed for an item(s). We deal with every order on a personalised basis, with each customer being treated as a valued individual, as we want each consumer to be fully comfortable with the purchase before submitting a confirmed order to us.

Customer satisfaction is very important to us. If any item we ship independently to a consumer (i.e. we do not pass over the goods 'face to face') does not meet customer expectation or requirements, then the consumer must contact us either by email or letter within 7 working days beginning the day after the goods have been received to request resolution of any issue or to request a full refund (to include the cost of outward shipping to the consumer). In these circumstances we require the consumer to pay the cost of returning the item to us in the condition in which it was sent and packed to the same standard to avoid damage in transit. Refunds will be made promptly upon return of goods and in any event within a maximum of 30 days from the date of cancellation of the order. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.
