Description: An Eames RAR fibreglass arm shell rocking chair designed by Charles Eames in 1948 for Herman Miller.

The chair is in very good condition for it's age. The colour is nice and strong with it's fibres showing nicely. The shell is strong with no cracks or serious damage, just some minor nicks to the edge through age and use. The shock mounts are all in good condition. The rocking base is a high quality reproduction walnut rocking base, a lovely chair in above average condition for it's age. Original labels intact underneath the shell...
