Description: A set of four vintage J39 Shaker chairs designed by Borge Mogensen (1914-1972).

Made of beech, they were acquired from Habitat in the mid 1970s. and were bought by us from the original owner.

The chairs are in nice vintage condition. Structurally sound with some signs of wear and tear through use. The Danish papercord is in good order, with no breaks or other damage to the cord, save for some age related staining to the chair seats (see image). The FDB silver labels remain in place.

These chairs are still in production today, now made by Fredericia Furniture and retail for around £460+ per chair...
