Description: Pair of FD 137 (also known as the Japan chair) chairs designed in 1958 by Finn Juhl. They were made by the first manufacturer France and Daverkosen of Denmark, in teak with brass fittings, and probably date from 1958-1962. These chairs are modular and originally came in fabric. The fabric on this particular pair of early chairs has recently been replaced to a good standard otherwise they are in good vintage condition. Both chairs carry the makers marks on the inside of the frame and also carry the FD logo...
