Description: Peter Brannan studied at Grimsby school of art and later at Leicester College of art 1951-52. His Brother was Noel Brannan (1921-2001).  Peter exhibited at the Royal Academy, New English Art Club, and at the Royal Society of British Artists, to which body he was elected in 1960.  He lived at Newark and later in Lincoln.

This oil on board is signed and dated 1959, and is very redolent of the period. It is in good original condition...
