Description: A printmaker and painter, Ruth Kerkovius was born in Latvia. She settled permanently in New York after the Second World War. Kerkovius has exhibited at the Society of American Graphic Artists and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts etc, and her work is included in a number of public collections in the United States, including the Cincinnati Art Museum and the Library of Congress, Washington, DC.

The coloured etching 'Tended Land' is pencil signed and dated 1971, and it is an Artist's Proof.  It is nicely framed and the image size measures 15"x23.5".  Condition is excellent...
