Title: 'Gannets over St Kilda' (pencil signed limited edition print)

Description: Jim Nicholson was born in Otley, Yorkshire, and lived in Scotland from the mid 1950s. Nicholson held over 40 one-man exhibitions during his lifetime throughout Scotland and in London. The late HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother collected his work.
 

He visited St Kilda (a World Heritage site) in the Outer Hebrides regularly and many of his paintings were of that archipelago.  It is the most important seabird breeding station in north-west Europe.  

This pencil signed print is numbered 2 of 350, and the image measures 14 x 20 inches. It dates from the 1980s and is housed in its original silver coloured frame.  The print is in excellent condition...
