Artist: LARS FRICK (Swedish - mid 20th century)

Title: 'Negro Woman in front of White House' ('Negress mot via hus'); and 'The Lemon Seller' (a pair)

Description:  Here we have a pair of original pencil signed and numbered serigraphs by the Swedish artist Lars Frick.  Both works are housed in their modest original frames and date to circa 1962.  We think they were executed on a visit to West Africa.

Each image measures about 22"x10.7", and is from an edition of 215 prints.  One print is numbered 63/215 and the other is 143/215.  On the back of one of the frames there is a label in Swedish giving information about the serigraph

The images themselves are both in very strong, fresh condition.  However, both prints have been stored in a damp place and 'The Lemon Seller' has a water stain to the lower right corner, outside the image.  The other print has a much smaller water stain again outside the image.  Both marks would not be noticeable on reframing...
