Description:   This is an early oil on canvas by JEAN COOKE, RA, signed 'Jean Bratby' and dated Spring 1962. At this time she was married to John Bratby RA, and they lived in Hardy Road, Blackheath. Jean Cooke was elected a full member of the Royal Academy in 1972.

We have a modern frame for the painting, an image of which is available on request. The oil is in 'ready to hang' condition having been cleaned and lined some five years ago. It measures 16 x 20 inches, excluding the frame...
