Artist: THOMAS SWIMMER (born 1932)

Title: 'Beached boats on the Mediterranean Coast' (signed oil on canvas - unframed)

Description:   Swimmer studied at the Royal Academy Schools 1950-56 under Peter Greenham and Bernard Fleetwood-Walker. He exhibited at the RA, and at the Redfern and Piccadilly Galleries, and lived in London.

This is one of three examples we have by him.  It is on canvas, unframed, and measures about 15 x 19 inches.  Signed by the artist, it is dated 1960, and was probably painted in Spain or Italy.  The painting is in good untouched condition, but does have light craquelure and would benefit from a light clean.
