Description:  Roy Turner Durrant's work is held in many public collections, including the Tate Gallery, Imperial War Museum, Graves Art Gallery in Sheffield, and Kettles Yard in Cambridge.  He exhibited at the Royal Academy, New English Art Club, Free Painters and Sculptors Society etc, and had a large number of one-man shows over a period of many years.  He lived in Cambridge during the last four decades of his life. In the past few years his work has become increasingly sought after.

This original painting is signed and dated (19)56, and was numbered by the artist '4.124' (he often used a code to aid identification of the paintings).  The work is in very good condition and it is housed in a good quality modern frame which complements the painting.  The image size is about 5 x 8 inches...
