Description:  A vintage writing desk in cherrywood designed by Grete Jalk in the early 1960s for Soren Horn, cabinetmakers of Denmark.  The desk has the burn mark of Soren Horn.

The lid has a leather top which is original.  The leather has evidence of wear consistent with age. 

The desk is in superb condition overall.  It is probably the finest quality piece of Danish furniture we have ever had in stock.  We think it is probably the work of Niels Roth Andersen, one of Denmark's most famous cabinet makers, who was with Soren Horn for many years...
