Artist: LORNA CASSIDY (born 1934)

Title: COLLAGE - HIGH WYCOMBE (framed collage, oil and paper)

Description:  Lorna Cassidy was born in Holtspur, Buckinghamshire and she attended Wycombe Art School.  She has lived in High Wycombe for many years working as a painter, illustrator and etcher, and is the author of the books 'Twenty Five Years in High Wycombe' (1977), 'Fifty Years - Etchings of High Wycombe' (2000) and 'Discovering High Wycombe'.  Lorna Cassidy has exhibited at the Royal Academy and, of course, in the Museum at Wycombe.

This original collage measures about 40 x 30 inches sight size, and it is signed and dated February 1975.  Although not titled this is a familiar view of High Wycombe.  The work is housed in an acceptable modern frame, and the collage is in very good condition for its age and medium.  There is another collage on the reverse, also of Wycombe...
