Title: THE PUNCH AND JUDY SHOW, BLACKPOOL BEACH' (original signed watercolour)

Description: We haven't yet been able to complete research on this item, which is on fine artist's paper watermarked Strathmore, a well known United States artist's paper manufacturer established in the 1890s.  There are several US artists with the name 'E Anthony', if indeed the watercolour is by an American painter.

The watercolour measures 22 x 30 inches image size, and it is initialled 'EA' lower left and signed in full lower right.  It is in excellent condition.  There is a modern frame to go with the item.  The subject is the Punch and Judy show on Blackpool Beach in Lancashire, close to the famous Blackpool Tower.  We think the painting is from the late 1950s or the 1960s...
