Title: 'WALKING THE DOG' (unframed oil on canvas)

Description:  Grahame Wheatley was born in Leicester in 1943, and studied art at Leicester Polytechnic, School of Fine Art in the 1970s.  In 1989 he won 1st Prize in the William Lee Quatercentenary Portrait Competition, presented by HRH The Princess Royal. He has had one man exhibitions at Loseby Gallery, Leicester 1983 and Bottle Kiln Gallery, West Hallam, Derby 1986, and his work has been shown regularly at Goldmark in Uppingham and the John Noott Galleries in Broadway.  Grahame has undertaken many important commissions and his work is held in public collections in the East Midlands.  One of his paintings sold at auction in 2007 for £3000 plus the buyers premium (source - Art Sales Index).

The present painting is titled 'Walking the Dog' and it measures about 39.5 x 25.5 inches (1000mm x 700mm).  It is unframed and is in excellent condition.  The oil is signed by the artist, and in our opinion is an excellent example of Grahame Wheatley's work...
