Description: A beautiful sofa designed by Grete Jalk circa 1961.

This sofa was purchased new from Heals in approx 1961, and has remained in the owner's possession since. It was reupholstered to a good standard some years ago, sympathetic to the original style and colour.

In a good vintage condition, with only light marking to the teak frame, all of the original springs are intact and remain strong, the original gold France & Son plaque remains. The frame is loose at the back - we will look into having this re-glued, which isn't a major job, and the price has been adjusted substantially to reflect this - once re-glued, the sofa should provide many further years of use...
