Description: A very rare and useful CSS comprehensive storage system unit designed by Nelson in 1959 for Herman Miller.

This particular system features 4 modular units (only one is currently pictured). Included within the set is 5 x 96'' anodised black poles, 5 x shelves of which two are the larger slanted shelves, 1 five drawer cabinet (pictured), 1 drop front desk, 1 filling cabinet, a pair of sliding doors, 1 organizer unit and 2 x pigeon hole units.

These systems can be arranged in a number of configurations, and extras added (shelves, cabinets, CSS lighting systems etc etc) at any point should you wish to do so.

The CSS system is in good vintage condition, with some minor losses of veneer to a couple of items. The shelves are in general good condition with some marks as one would expect. A very collectible set and a rare chance in the UK...
