Title: Reclining Nude  (an original signed charcoal drawing - unframed)

Description: We recently acquired a further selection of drawings and prints, which came originally directly from Horne Shepherd's studio. The main item shown here is an original charcoal drawing of a reclining female nude, measuring an impressive 15" x 22" paper size. The work is signed lower right and it is unframed.  It is likely to date to the 1940s or 50s and is in good condition save for some minor creasing to the paper and some tape residue verso from previous mounting.

We are also showing here three further works by Horne Shepherd (images 2, 3 & 4). All three are signed by the artist and are unframed and in very good condition.  Brief details are (in order of image appearing on the site) - 'Standing Nude' (watercolour with pen & ink 11" x 7.5" image size, circa late 1960s - £sold); 'Nude with stockings on couch' (mainly felt tipped pen, 9" x 13.8", circa 1960s, showing the strong influence of Picasso / Cubism- £80); and ' Reclining nude with flowers and green stockings' (watercolour measuring 8.5" x 10.4" image size, circa late 1960s, very 'Flower Power' era - £sold)...
