The art critic and author J P Hodin (1905-1995) was a good friend of the artist and we have been able to acquire several original watercolours by Ruszkowski which came originally from Paul Hodin's library following his death. We understand they were a gift from the artist on special occasions, such as a birthday or Christmas.  Details and images of the other Ruszkowski works are available on request.

The present work is an original signed watercolour from the Hodin collection of what we think is a landscape in the south of France, circa the late 1950s or 1960s.  It is unframed and measures about 9 x 19.8 inches image size on somewhat irregular sized paper (trimmed to size we think by the artist).  The watercolour is in good condition with strong colour, save for some minor undulations to the paper...
