Description: A set of 7 Alvar Aalto model 69 dining chairs designed in 1933-35.

The chairs are constructed from natural lacquered birch and birch veneer. They currently retail new for around £260 each.

The set is in used condition, but all the chairs are structurally sound bar one chair which has a crack where the leg is screwed to the base - it is currently usable but we can't be sure if the damage will worsen over time/use. There are some losses of veneer on the seats of five of the chairs (pictured). All but two of the chairs retain their original Artek ink stamps underneath (the stamps can easily wear off over time)...
