Trained as an architect he is part of the original four-person Richard Rogers architectural practice. The artist is fascinated by the landscape and culture of the United States, to which he is a regular visitor, and over the past three decades he has produced stunning images of trucks, cars, American footballers etc.

The present work is an original colour silkscreen signed 'Andrew Holmes' in his usual manner and dated 1979. It is titled 'Sugar Shack' and is numbered 62 from an edition of 125. The print measures about 9.7 x 13.7 inches image size and about 24 x 30 inches in its good quality silver coloured frame.  It is in good condition as is the frame save for one or two minor age related blemishes...
