Description: The present work is an original watercolour titled 'The Jetty', painted we think in France, measuring about 9.8 x 13.8 inches image size. The watercolour is signed by Richard Murry, dated 1938 and inscribed (later) 'to Peggy '41'.  It was exhibited as #60 in the New English Art Club show held in Winter 1938/39 and the painting is still housed in its original frame with the NEAC label verso.  The watercolour is in good, fresh condition...
