Description: An Eames black fibreglass side shell office work chair manufactured by Herman Miller.

The chair features a Naugahyde cover which is in good condition for it's age. There are no scuffs, rips or holes. The swivel base is in original condition, the aluminium has dulled over the years which is a common trait, although there is no pitting.

The castor wheels operate smoothly, the shell is stamped Herman Miller underneath with it's paper label present. HEMA is also stamped underneath the shell, we have been unable to work out who this is but it is highly likely to be an American University/Library. The date stamp has worn away, but we would imagine this is late 1970s/early 1980s. A very comfortable chair for the home office...
