Description: A pair of very stylish chairs designed and manufactured by Gunlocke chair company of Wayland, NY, USA.

The chairs are made from Walnut, and are in very good vintage condition. Naturally for chairs which are 40 plus years old there is some wear and tear, including a minor loss to one chair arm, but overall these chairs are structurally sound, very comfortable and should provide many years of trouble free use in the future. They are covered in tan coloured faux leather which appears to be original.

The 'G' logo embedded in both chairs is the one used by the company from the 1940s to the end of the 1960s. We think these chairs are likely to be 1960s manufacture and clearly show the influence of Danish designers working in America such as Jens Risom...
