Marc Vaux: Marc Vaux, LG (born 1932, Swindon, Wiltshire) is a well known abstract painter, printmaker and maker of reliefs.  He studied at Swindon School of Art and later at the Slade School in London 1957-60. He has exhibited widely in Britain and abroad, including in the Paris and Tokyo Biennales in the 1960s and a major show at the Whitechapel Art Gallery 1973. He was elected a member of The London Group in 1990 and is represented in a number of public collections, including by seven examples in The Tate Gallery.
