Nicholas Mace (born 1949) is a well-known painter of landscapes, coastal scenes and is especially noted for his works of British country life, including scenes associated with wildlife and field sports. He was born in London and began painting as a boy, starting to sell his work from the age of fifteen at the open-air shows in central London. Nick Mace later worked as a designer in a commercial art studio and began a long association with the British Game Fair where he exhibited his paintings for many years from 1972. His work is collected widely in the United Kingdom and the United States of America and he was represented by galleries in London, New York and elsewhere. He lives in Dorset
