Title: Congo River (A Burnt-Out Case) - An original pencil signed lithograph; mounted but unframed
Description: The full title of this original lithograph is 'Congo (Zaire) River at Mbandaka (A Burnt-out Case)'. 'A Burnt-out Case' was written by the author Graham Greene and published in 1961. We believe that some of the illustrations for this book were by Paul Hogarth but this lithograph was published later in the 1990s. It is pencil signed lower right, titled and numbered 3 from an edition of 195 prints. The lithograph was printed on fine quality paper with the Somerset watermark. It is in good condition, with unfaded colours, save for one or two very minor marks to the paper. The print will be shipped within the mount, laid flat, ready for framing if desired.
