Robert Edgar Bird (b. 1921) was an abstract artist exhibiting in the 1960s and 1970s. His work was shown at the Oxford Gallery, Oxford and he is represented by a typical example in the Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. In his earlier years he painted portraits and other figurative subjects. Robert Bird lived for some years near Leek in Staffordshire.
